Important Message to All ACBA Families

Dear ACBA families, As we welcome another spring season filled with rehearsals, classes, and upcoming performances, we are also unfortunately dealing with the possible spread of COVID-19 ("Coronavirus"). We understand how this may cause a significant impact upon our lives, our families, and our community. As an academy committed to the health and well-being of all our students, staff, and faculty, ACBA's leadership has had meetings and a series of discussions regarding this. Following the recommendation of the CDC and the current school closures, ACBA has made the decision to be closed to the public for this week, March 16-21. During this time, we will be taking the proper preventative measures and sanitize the ballet and take all precautions moving forward. We know that everyone will be concerned about our upcoming performances, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the Spring Recital, and as of now our performances are still scheduled, but our main concern is keeping all our students, staff, and faculty healthy and safe. We plan to stay alert and communicative, so that we can best protect everyone. Makeup classes will be scheduled as we assess the situation further. We will stay up to date with recommendations from the CDC and Anchorage Health Departments, and will continue to be committed to communicating thoroughly with our ACBA families. If you have any questions or concerns, our front desk hours will be Monday to Friday, 12-4pm and you can reach us via phone or email. Please know we care deeply about all of you, and we know that together, we will get through this. Best wishes,

ACBA Team (907) 569-3267 info@anchorageballet.org 1309 W. 29th Avenue Anchorage, AK 99503
