SUMMER BALLET INTENSIVE

June 8 - 26

Spend 3 weeks working on Teqnique  and making lasting memories!

Our three-week Summer Ballet Intensive is for the dancer who is looking to excel upon, imporve and stregthen their technique. Dancers will become stronger, increase flexiblity and experience diversity with new dance forms to help maintain their abilities and enhance their overall performance.

We divide our program into three levels of ability to provide our students with the best possible instruction.  Students are placed into the level that best suits their age and ability. The intensive will cover a broad range of dance disciplines from classical ballet to contemporary dance. Students will come away from this experience a more confident dancer.

All classes this summer will be held at the NEW Anchorage Classical Ballet Academy location, located at 1309 West 29th Avenue.

Level III:

9:00-9:30am     Conditioning

9:45-11:15am     Ballet

11:15-11:45am     Stretch

11:45-12:15pm     Lunch

12:15-1:00pm     Pointe

1:00-3:00pm     Repertoire

3:00-4:00pm     Modern/Jazz

4:00-5:00pm     Master class

Level II:

9:00-9:30am     Conditioning

If for any reason, you are unable to attend the audition level placement class, please call or email to set up another date.

TUITION BY LEVEL

Live/Video Audition Fee:     $15

Registration Fee:     $25

Level III:     $1,393

Level II:     $1,264

Level I:     $1,176

 

Payment Deadline:     June 1, 2020

Late Fee:     $25

Tuition covers all expenses, including the materials for activities and production fees.

 

All students should bring a healthy lunch and plenty of water to drink.

 

All SBI students will participate in the summer performance of Stars and Stripes at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts Center.
